As part of the bilateral discussions with the World Bank, a working meeting was held on August 28, 2026, at the Institution’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., between the teams led by Mr. Ousmane DIAGANA, Regional Vice President for West and Central Africa, and the Congolese delegation headed by Mr. Jean Jacques BOUYA, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of coordinating development infrastructure and land‑use planning. The discussions focused on shared priorities, including national infrastructure development, land‑use planning, and strategic cooperation with the World Bank.
