Power of Attorney is a formal written authority given by an individual to another individual to manage his personal affairs.
Photocopy of the Congolese Passport of the individual seeking to transfer the management of his personal affairs to another individual ;

form filled out by the applicant with all the necessary information included in it ;
A money order of 20.00 U.S Dollars
or 20.00 U.S. Dollars
in cash. Due to some undisclosed reasons, the Embassy of the Republic of Congo to the United States of America is no longer accepting Business checks. Procuration fees will still remain at 20.00 U.S Dollars
. As of August 20th, 2014, only cash and money orders will be accepted as the only form of payment for visa fees. Furthermore, the money order should be paid to the order of , " Embassy of the Republic of Congo
." We do apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Please be aware that this situation is temporary and the Embassy of the Republic of Congo is working hard to find a permanent solution. For visa applicants outside the United States of America, they will need to provide an international money order from RBC Royal Bank, Des Jardins Bank, and BMO Banque de Montreal in the amount of 20.00 U.S Dollars
or cash for their visa fees payments. The international money order should be paid to the order of " Embassy of the Republic of Congo
." Be aware that Canadian or Mexican Postal checks are not accepted under any circumstances ;
A prepaid envelope ( DHL, Fedex, UPS, USPS) with a TRACKING NUMBER
so that the notarized Power of Attorney form can be mailed back to the sender. Please be aware that Canadian or Mexican prepaid envelopes are not accepted under any circumstances.
